The law firm of A. Traub & Associates is proud to have a rich history of legal service to people in DuPage County and other communities throughout Northern Illinois. Our founder, Attorney Angel Traub, has been a prominent figure in the legal community for over two decades, and she has worked to build a strong team and a practice that provides compassionate, dedicated legal help to people who need to address issues related to family law, estate planning, and real estate.

As a female owned and led law firm, A. Traub & Associates works to promote diversity in the practice of law while providing excellent representation to ensure that clients can address complex and contentious matters in divorce and child custody cases. Our attorneys are also certified mediators who can help divorcing spouses or others who are involved in legal disputes work together to reach settlements quickly and efficiently. Ms. Traub and other team members also serve as Guardians ad Litem, representing the best interests of children in family law cases.

We are also proud that multiple members of our team have gone on to serve as judges. Margaret "Peggy" O'Connell was elected as a DuPage County Circuit Court Judge in 2019. In 2022, Chantelle Porter was appointed as a Circuit Court Judge in the 18th Judicial Circuity by the Illinois Supreme Court, and she is the first Black female circuit court judge in DuPage County.

Our team members have received multiple awards and recognitions, and they are very active in bar associations and other parts of the Illinois legal community. Ms. Traub has served as the President of the DuPage County Bar Association, and she received the DuPage Legal Assistance Foundation Pro Bono Service Award. Our attorneys have also been recognized by Super Lawyers, Elite Lawyer, and other organizations, which demonstrates our commitment to excellence and our ability to meet our clients' legal needs.
